5 things to do in Cusco during the pandemic.

Main Square in Cusco Perú

I travelled to Cusco in 2020 during the pandemic and I’ll show what you can do in the Incan city. Even thought we are returning little by little like before this thing you can do too.

Visit the Main Square.

Here is the central part of the city, you can get awesome views and photos with the main church in the background.

Eat typical food in the Market or any else.

You have to go to the main market in Cusco you can find handmade goods, fresh products and of course food you can try soups, pachamanca, seco de res and anything that represents peruvian cuisine.

Visit the Convent of San Franscisco de Asis

A catholic convent that is very beautiful on the inside with a big patio and is a museum as well, it is 15 soles for foreigners and 10 for peruvians. In there you can find the biggest canvas painting in all of America, you can also visit the church of the convent, something interesting is that there is catacombs where burials took place and its rumoured Tupac Amaru II was buried here.

Walk to Qorikancha.

I love to take walks and from the Alameda of Pachacutec I walked to Qorikancha an amazing structure also known as Santo Domingo Convent, it has a museum on the inside with many interesting views of architecture of the Incan’s.
